Indonesian Satay
STEPS OF COOKING
- Apply Shan Indonesian Satay Mix and oil (oil/butter 5-7 tablespoon/ ¼ cup)on the meat (chicken 500g - 750g boneless cubes)cubes. Marinate for 1 hour or more.
- Sew on to wet wooden sticks / skewers, B.B.Q. or grill on the hot plate/ pan till tender. Serve with Satay Sauce*.
SATAY SAUCE:
- Mix ¼ cup coarsely crushed peanuts, ½ cup tamarind pulp, ¼ cup tomato ketchup, 2 tablespoons soya sauce and ¼ teaspoon salt.
