Kat a kat

STEPS OF COOKING

  1. Bring to boil 8 cups of water. Add 3 tbsps. vinegar, 1 tbsp. garlic paste, 1 tbsp. ginger paste, 2 chopped goat’s kidneys, 1 piece chopped goat’s heart, 2 whole goat’s brains. Boil for 5 minutes and discard the liquid.
  2. Heat 1 – 1 ½ cup oil/ghee and add 2 tbsps. garlic paste. Stir fry and add 4 pieces chopped Mutton chops. Cook on high heat for 5 minutes.
  3. Add kidneys, heart, brain and 2 tbsp. Shan Ginger paste. Stir fry on high heat for 5 minutes. 
  4. Add 1 medium finely diced onion, 2 medium diced tomatoes, ½ cup, whipped, yoghurt, 1 packet Shan Kat a Kat mix dissolved in 1 cup water and stir-fry for 5 minutes on high heat. Lower heat. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
  5. Add 5-10 coarsely chopped green chilies, 1 cup chopped green coriander, 2-3 tbsps. lemon juice and 4 tbsps. butter. Stir fry on high heat for 5 minutes and remove.    

     

      SERVING SUGGESTION

      Serve hot with naans.
