Chinese Chicken Vegetables

STEPS OF COOKING

  1. Combine 1 tablespoon Shan Chinese Chicken Vegetable Mix, egg white (1, lightly beaten), meat (chicken/beef/fish/prawns 250g/ ½ lb, boneless, paper thin slices) and 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil). Set aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Dissolve remaining Shan Chinese Chicken Vegetable Mix in 1 - 1¼ cups water and set aside.
  3. Heat oil (vegetable oil 6-8 tbsp/ ½ cup) in a wok. Add meat and stir-fry on high heat for 1 minute.
  4. Add vegetables (cauliflower/cabbage 150g/ 2 cups, cubed) (green beans ¼ - ½ cup, chopped 1” long) (green chillies 6-8 sliced in half) (onions 1, cut in qtr portion). Stir-fry on high heat for 3-4 minutes. Continuously toss and turn the meat and vegetables.
  5. Add the dissolved Shan Chinese Chicken Vegetable Mix and stir-fry on low heat for 2-3 minutes or until sauce thickens. Stir continuously. Serve with Shan Egg Fried Rice.
  6. Tips: Freeze meat then make thin slices.
  7. Beef: Use Fillet Mignon / undercut or boil beef till tender.
