Chicken White Korma

STEPS OF COOKING

  1. Mix together 2-4 tbsps. green chili paste, 1 tbsp. garlic paste, 2 tbsps. ginger paste, and 1 packet Shan Chicken White Korma Mix. Apply to small portions of 1 kg chicken and set aside for 30- 45 minutes.
  2. Heat ½ - 1 cup (180ml) oil/ghee and fry 4 medium (400g) finely diced onions until light brown. Remove onions from. oil and grind with 1 cup (200g) whipped yogurt. Keep aside.
  3. In same oil, add marinated chicken and stir fry for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Add onion and yoghurt mixture. Cook for 15 minutes or until oil separates from gravy. (For thinner gravy add half to one cup milk). Add 4 tbsps. lemon juice and remove from heat.


SERVING SUGGESTION

Garnish with few blanched and peeled almonds.
Serve hot with naans and roti.


TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS

wash the chicken with 2 tablespoons white vinegar in half cup of water before use.
