Mutton Roast Masala
STEPS OF COOKING
- Heat oil (1/2 cup/75ml), add meat (mutton, leg, 1 ½ kg, whole leg), onions (2 small, peeled and uncut), garlic pod (1 whole, unpeeled), ginger (3” pieces, thin slices), carrot (1 cut into 1” rounds) and Shan Mutton Roast Masala Mix (1 packet). Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes
- Add 6 cups of water and bring to boil.
- Lower heat to simmer. Cover and cook undisturbed for 3 hours then turn the meat to the other side for 3 hours or until a thick gravy is formed
- Remove and discard potatoes (4-6 small, peeled), carrot, ginger, garlic, onion and whole spices.
- Serve neat or with bread.
