Chinese Beef / Chicken Chilli
STEPS OF COOKING
- Combine Shan Chinese Beef/Chicken Chilli Mix, egg white (1, lightly beaten), meat (chicken/beef/prawns 500g/ 1 lb, boneless, paper thin 2” long strips) and 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil). Set aside for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil (vegetable oil 8-9 tablespoons/ ½ - ¾ cup) in a wok on high heat. Stir fry beef for 5-6 minutes (Chicken / Prawns 1-2 minutes). Stir continuously.
- Add green chillies (8-10 sliced in half) and green onions (4-5 sliced 1” long) in the meat (Beef / Chicken / Prawn).
- Stir-fry on high heat for 5-6 minutes.
- Stir continuously. Serve with Shan Egg Fried Rice.
- Tips: Freeze meat and then make thin slices.
- Beef: Use Fillet Mignon / undercut or boil beef till tender.
