STEPS OF COOKING
- Combine 3 tablespoons Shan Chinese Sweet & Sour Mix, egg white (1, lightly beaten), meat (chicken/beef/fish/prawns 250g/ ½ lb boneless) and 1 tablespoon oil (vegetable oil 6-8 tbsp ½ cup). Set aside for 15 minutes.
- Mix remaining Shan Chinese Sweet & Sour Mix and Tomato ketchup (1 cup) in 1 cup of water. Blend well and set aside.
- Heat oil (vegetable oil 6-8 tbsp ½ cup) in a wok. Stir-fry meat on high heat for 1 minute. Add vegetables (capsicum ½ chopped in sq) (tomato 1 large cubed in 8 parts) (carrot 1 thin round slices) (green onions 3-4 sliced 1” long) and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Stir continuously.
- Add the dissolved Shan Chinese Sweet & Sour Mix. Cook on low heat until sauce thickens. Stir continuously.
- Add pineapple chunks with syrup (1 cup) and bring to boil on high heat. Stir frequently.
Serve with Shan Egg Fried Rice.
