Chicken White karahi

STEPS OF COOKING

  1. Mix 1 packet Shan Chicken White Karahi Mix, 1-2 tbsp. green chili paste, 2 tbsps. ginger paste, ½ cup (100g) plain yogurt and apply it to small pieces of 1kg chicken. Marinate for 1-2 hours.
  2. Heat 1 cup (175ml) oil/ghee and add chicken. Stir-fry on high heat for 8-10 minutes. 
  3. Cover and cook on low heat for 5-7 minutes. Add 6 tbsps. lemon juice, 6-8 large whole or thick slices of green chilies and 2 tbsp. chopped green coriander. 


SERVING SUGGESTION

Remove from heat and serve.

Serve with roti/naan.


TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS

Wash the chicken with 2 tablespoons white vinegar in half cup of water before use.
